Isobel's Story

Isobel was saved from slaughter when HiCaliber rescued her from the Thompson's Horse Lot on May 27, 2017.

Isobel is a bit of a green bean with a whole lot of potential. She loves attention and is alert but open to new experiences.  So far what we've learned is that she is easy to catch in a herd, she walks very aware and alert yet is a complete lady.  Isobel has no issue with us removing or putting on her fly mask, picks up all four feet on command and loves to be groomed and bathed.  She stood perfectly still while we saddled her - we've tried both western and English saddles on her.  She is patient and stands still while you mount via the mounting block. She appears to have a bit of training as she neck reins and understands verbal cues.  All in all, she is a very nice mare with a whole lot to give. Isobel is just waiting for somebody to continue working with her and be her special person.
