Camilla's Story

Camilla was saved from slaughter when HiCaliber rescued her from the Thompson's Horse Lot on May 27, 2017.

Update:  August 4, 2017

Camilla had a great day with her rider. She was easy to catch and stood perfectly to be groomed. The rider decided to try Camilla in an English Saddle and it went great. This girl doesn’t mind what type of saddle you use but she does request that you cinch her up slowly. An intermediate rider would be best for Camilla since she prefers a leader with a confident but gentle hand. After an easy ride at the walk/trot/canter, Camilla enjoyed a bath and a relaxing walk, which are her favorite things. It was a fantastic day for her. Camilla has enjoyed parades, trails, and lots of love here at HiCaliber but she is now ready to go home with you.

Update: July 22, 2017

This little lady is the Bomb!!  She is easy to catch, great for grooming, ties, loads, tacks, baths, you name it, she does it! She is great for mounting, doesn’t spook, had no fear on trails, walked right by scary logs, through streams and up and down ditches!

Camilla easily handles walk, trot, canter and also willingly gives you all 4 feet for a pedicure. This girl could easily be ridden by an intermediate rider. She loves trail rides and loves to be loved!
