Maverick was saved from slaughter when HiCaliber rescued him from the Ontario Auction on June 14, 2016.
Maverick was started in foster by one of our wonderful outside trainers. He was a little wound up and full of testosterone when he came in because he had balls. We fixed that in true HiCaliber fashion - cut them off and eat them - Ball Fried Rice anyone? While Maverick's balls may have caused controversy, there is no dispute over how handsome this guy is and how well he is coming along. He is a stunning "two faced" paint with an ice blue eye on one side complimented by a sultry brown on the other. He was very green to start, so ideally he will go to another trainer to be finished, or be adopted by someone with the ability to finish him and desire to start their horse from the ground up.
