Heather's Story

Heather was saved from slaughter when HiCaliber rescued her from the Ontario Auction on April 26, 2016.

Update (12/30/16):
Why is this mare still here? Gymkhana people! Where you at?! That being said… Heather is not the kind of girl that just lets anyone ride her around. You gotta take this girl out for dinner first, and impress her there. Heather is looking for her soulmate. She will act all tough and grumpy to see if you can handle her at her worst, and for a confident rider who will not run scared from that, she will give you her best. This girl is gorgeous paint with a quick turn and a quicker stop. She is responsive to subtle balance changes and we believe that once she finds her soulmate she is going to be one hell of a riding partner. Heather would be best for an intermediate rider. Come look deep into her eyes, maybe you will find your soulmate too!

Update (07/29/16):
Heather was great today. She seemed happy to be out. Grooming, tacking, and cinching up was a breeze. Her rider hopped right on her and walked/trotted for a warm up. Backs up great, stops by the feel of your seat. Not too dull, not too sensitive.

Update (05/29/2016):

Heather's test ride was beautiful.

This mare was MADE for gymkhana. If you're looking for a drill team, barrel, pole or maybe a cow horse... COME.TRY.THIS.GIRL. (She's fine with our cows but we are going to try her at legit sorting.)

She is not for beginners; Heather is a badass. You should be too if you want her to like you.

Push button, prefers a bit but did great bitless. A little mareish on the ground but under saddle she is all business.

She's 14.3, stocky, sound, about 11-13 years old and FUN!

She'S UTD on all
